Oh god, same. Match Writing is where it's at.
I mean, it doesn't force you to write a 2000 word promo every week and matches are far easier to write than promos.

Shitty matches are easier to write than promos. Good matches? Not so much. Matchwriting was the main reason I burnt out on e-fedding both times I went on hiatus. Fuck that noise, let someone else do it. Gimme the boomstick and let me cut a promo any day.

I did the e-fed thing, haven't in years though. I joined one called the XFWL back in 2001, and before long my vast amount of free time (oh to be a college student again) made me the best candidate to play head writer/booker for the shows and matches and all that. Did it until I guess early 2004, the XFWL Boards had a bit of an implosion, and while I tried to start a new fed right from there, the truth was my interest was losing steam as was my free time. By senior year of college I was involved in enough school stuff to take up all of my free time, so I never really looked back. The XFWL days were fun and I wouldn't trade them in or the people I met through them (who I wish I hadn't lost contact with) but yeah, I wouldn't go back to e-fedding today. I've moved on.

i dont agree with Smurf often but seriously -- if you want to pretend to be a wrestler find a shitty wrestling school and train. or find a good wrestling school and train.

There's training centers all over --- if you live in the north east theres litterally 100's of places you can learn, and im sure a smattering everywhere else as well. Some you can get good deals at.

Just become a wrestler. even if its for a little bit.
