Chikara Fans

Has anyone here participate/participated in an e-fed? For those of you who don't know, it's kind of like a fantasy wrestling fed online where you create a character and a "head booker" puts matches together that are based on promos one puts out.

It's fun, but time consuming. I personally like the ability to make a character and truly become it in promos. I used to do it a lot back in high school. My character:

Ace Mcfly "That 80s Guy"
He was a delusional man who still thinks it's 1985. I would often incorporate themes, dialog and even plot elements of 80s era films in my promos. My finishers included a modified anaconda vice deemed the "Flux Capacitor", a spear called "88 MPH" and a something similar to Chuck Taylor's Awful Waffle known as "A Winner Is You!" Oh, and my pic base (someone who your character looks like to be used in event posters) was Jagged. My theme was also "Take On Me"

Anyone else do this or at least put some thought into a character?

I was a part of an E-Fed once. Although it went dead after just 3 shows. I used an Emo character that I later used as my actual wrestling personia. It was alot of fun. ^_^

Also, my character (that I'd use still if efedding wasn't dead) was The Fro. My pic base was a picture of Sean Waltman with an afro put on with the MSpaint spraypaint tool. He was the leader of the nWfro. There was many members of the nWfro. Like Deth, Wedgie, Andy "Dirty" Sanchez, Gold Toof, eventually half of roster was in the nWfro. Because the nWfro is fro life.

I was considering for a while training and using the Ace Mcfly persona as my gimmick. I think i could get over with it.

Do it! But the Flux Capacitor is already the name of Kazarian's top rope C4.

I've been e-fedding for 10 years, off and on. I'm on again. It's great.

If this website ever got its own efed I would shoot you all dead before turning the gun on myself.

I would ask you to focus on the first event in that particular scenario rather than the last.

It's a price worth paying.

All this talk has me looking to get back into e-fedding.
